Lifespice India Pvt Ltd shall be launching its Nutraceutical spice mixes at Dubai on 19th February 2023 in the IFD 2.0 (Indian Food Delegation) Event conducted by The Council of Indian Food Trade (CIFT) at The Conrad Hotel-Dubai. CIFT is organising this event in coordination with the Government of Dubai.
The company had recently launched its products pan India and is now expanding its footprint globally. The company plans to aggressively promote its products in the Middle East and also participate in trade of roasted ground single spice powders other than the various proprietary recipe mixes that the company sells in India. The company is also in discussion with select importers of the region for supply of high-quality whole spices
The company is India's first science backed spice mix producer and has established through in-vivo tests that consumption of phytochemical rich spice mixes of optimal composition can upregulate genes, and seeks to globally establish a product footprint that celebrates India's claim that - Food is Medicine, explained Mr Ganeshan Varadarajan, MD of Lifespice India Pvt Ltd.
The company has setup a unique and pioneer factory at Ranipet, Tamilnadu and has published it's Brand Purpose as reduction of lost life years (LLY) and disability adjusted life years (DALY) by producing and marketing spice mixes that replicate Indian ancestral holistic science where good taste celebrated overall wellbeing
The company incorporated in 2020 has setup the facility at a cost of INR 20 Crores with a term loan from State Bank of India for INR 6.5 crores and the balance from promoters as equity and advances. Currently to support the vigorous efforts to expand footprint, the company is raising equity and structured advances to the tune of INR 15 Crores.
The facility housing the factory of 2000 TPA capacity allows expansion up to 25.000 TPA from the same location. Participation as a spice partner in the CIFT event "IFD 2.0" is the first of many steps to enhance market presence and capacity enhancement.
